The Lenovo V520S desktop features a small-form-factor design, which takes up a small amount of space on your desk, as well as an Intel Core i3-7100 processor and 4GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 memory to provide performance for everyday tasks. The 7th-generation Intel Core i3-7100 processor comes with 3MB of cache memory and two cores that operate at 3.0 GHz speeds. With an integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 chipset, visuals are delivered through the desktop’s HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA outputs. To complete the multimedia experience, an internal 1.5W speaker is on board, or you can connect an optional headset to its two 3.5mm audio jacks.
The 500GB 7200 rpm 3.5″ hard drive provides ample space to store photos, music, files, and more.
For USB connections, this desktop offers six USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports to access USB devices, such as external storage drives, printers, and scanners. Other notable features include a Gigabit Ethernet port and a SuperMulti DVD burner for creating DVD home movies and installing software.
The Lenovo V520S can be upgraded by installing up to 32GB of memory chips along with up to two low-profile PCIe cards for keeping up with future demands. To handle additional storage drives, an M.2 slot and 2.5″ drive bay are on board. Additionally, a second M.2 slot is available for accommodating a user-supplied Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module.
